In response to the escalation of violence in Iran triggered by the assassination by US forces of General Qassem Soleimani, a number of faith-based groups in the US including our sister organisation The Episcopal Peace Fellowship have issued the following statement, condemning the drive towards war and calling for a return to peaceful diplomatic process.
